This patch series is inspired by a papier-mâché Japanese folk craft called hariko. Zodiac symbols tied to seasonal celebrations are made into figurines, traditionally with mulberry park and washi paper. The hariko craft is passed down through generations.
Machine embroidered on sturdy felt with an iron-on backing. Perfect as a gift, an addition to a tote bag, or an embellishment for your favorite jacket. Designed and machine embroidered in-house.
Includes a wide, hand-cut felt border for a vintage look and to provide room for stitching if you don't want to commit to ironing just yet. If you prefer a smaller border, you can trim the felt and the iron-on backing will still be just as strong.
